FloSonic is designed for measurement and recording of open channel flow rates in flumes, weirs, drains, or any other free flow profiles. It is possible to connect 4 arbitrary measuring level sensors with 4-20 mA outputs to the evaluation unit.

Unit also enables to add Doppler velocity sensor for each channel, either surface radar SV or subsurface ultrasonic MP. This feature predetermines the meter for applications with water back pressure or even opposite direction flow ( net total volume is calculated in this case by deduction of opposite tolal volume). Evaluation unit allows to calculate the flow for circular or any other random profile. For each profile is also possible the combination of discharge curve and velocity flow calculation with 3 velocity correction level intervals.

Programming and downloading of the recorder is done via Wifi using the built-in web interface. In addition to the standard outputs, the meter enables remote data transmission via GSM or IoT network.
